Wait, what is an Oral Health Therapist?!

Since 2006, all graduating Oral Health students have been Oral Health Therapists (OHT’s)—combining the best of both worlds to care for smiles of all ages. With extra training, OHTs can even provide adult restorative treatments, like fillings. At Tulip Dental, Kat Visser (and soon Tayla) offers this advanced care on a case-by-case basis, ensuring you get personalized treatment every time.

At Tulip Dental, our Oral Health Therapists (OHT’s) are all about keeping your gums happy and healthy—because let’s face it, they deserve some love too! We work closely as a team to ensure your treatment and diagnostics are consistent and tailored just for you. Think of us as your gum health cheerleaders, here to help you stay on top of things with expert care, clear advice, and a bit of banter to keep it fun. Your smile’s long-term health is our priority, and we’re here to make sure you leave feeling confident and well cared for.
